Trail No. 506V is a steep variant of Trail No. 506 (Manarola–Volastra–AV5T). It bypasses the hamlet of Volastra, passing instead through the hamlet of Groppo. The route begins at Pie’ de Fiesse, where Trail No. 506 meets Trail No. 502 on the SP51 provincial road. The path starts with a short concrete ramp running alongside Trail No. 502. After a few meters, it passes the old trail to Volastra—now blocked and rerouted due to the construction of Provincial Road 51—and crosses the Rio Groppo via an ancient stone bridge.
